Once your itinerary is confirmed, we coordinate the bookings with each local operator on your behalf. You don't need separate accounts on FareHarbor, OpenTable, or each operator's website. Payment is handled at checkout — a small service fee plus the operator's listed price. You receive confirmation emails directly from each operator.

What's your cancellation policy?

Each operator has their own cancellation policy, which we surface during checkout. Most workday programs are flexible if you cancel 48+ hours ahead — many are nonprofit-run and can refill your slot. Deposits paid to lock a slot are non-refundable by default; admin can override case-by-case. The Holoholo service fee is non-refundable once any leg is locked in. We pass through the operator's policy verbatim — we don't add restrictions on top.

Deposits are non-refundable by default once a slot is locked. Operator-side cash refunds chain through their policy (most refund if you cancel 48+ hours out). No prior knowledge required. The kumu (cultural lead) running each workday will introduce the place — its name, its water source, the family that holds the kuleana. Listening more than you talk and following the kumu's lead matter more than prior knowledge. If you're nervous about pronunciation, ask — Hawaiian is regular once you know the rules and the family will be patient.

Default behavior: don't photograph the cultural lead, the property entrance, or any signage without asking — even when it seems casual. Photos of the patch / the work / your own group are usually fine. Don't post pinned-location photos that identify the family's specific land.
