These Terms may change. Please check the “Last updated” date at the top and bottom of this page from time to time. We will notify you by email of material changes.
The personalized Oʻahu itinerary we generate for you is our product. When you pay the planning deposit, you are paying for the concierge work that produces that itinerary: activity selection, scheduling, travel-day logistics, and a curated package of vetted local operators. That deliverable is what we commit to.
Automatic booking is experimental and not guaranteed.Where supplier systems allow it, we attempt to place your bookings on your behalf using automated software. Automation can fail for many reasons outside our control — supplier outages, anti-bot defenses, captcha walls, sold-out inventory, or supplier-portal changes. When automation cannot complete a booking, we fall back to one of: a one-click handofflink that takes you directly to the supplier’s checkout with your details prefilled; email or SMS coordination with the supplier; or a refund of the supplier-side amount. We make no commercial guarantee that any individual booking will be completed automatically.
Ongoing concierge chat support is experimental and not guaranteed. The AI concierge in your trip portal is a best-effort tool, not a contractual service. Response times, accuracy, and availability are not guaranteed; there is no SLA. Please do not rely on the concierge chat for time-critical decisions — if a question affects same-day or next-day travel, contact the supplier or operator directly and email keith@holoholo.ai as a backstop.
Holoholo.ai LLC (“Holoholo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the regenerative tourism concierge platform at holoholo.ai. We help visitors to Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi plan trips that prioritize regenerative and low-impact activities.
By accessing our website or submitting a trip planning request, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be at least 18 to create a trip account and confirm bookings. Minors may participate in activities you book on their behalf; please confirm age limits with each operator before you book.
Holoholo.ai provides personalized itinerary planning, supplier booking coordination, and beach reservation automation for visitors to Oʻahu. Specific features include:
Holoholo books activities, beach reservations, and tours on Oʻahu. We do not book lodging (hotels, vacation rentals, resorts) or flights. We may ask for your hotel name to help with travel logistics and nearby-beach guest pricing, but we do not make lodging reservations on your behalf.
For most suppliers, we use automated software running on third-party headless-browser infrastructure (see Privacy § 4) to fill out the supplier’s booking form using the details you provide and to complete payment using a single-use virtual card we mint for that booking through Privacy.com / Lithic. Your real card number is never sent to the supplier.
As described in § 1, automated booking is experimental and not guaranteed. For suppliers whose systems do not support our automation (for example, Bishop Museum, Diamond Head, Hanauma Bay, the Polynesian Cultural Center, Mindbody-, OpenTable-, or Square-Appointments-backed operators) we provide a one-click handoff linkwith your details prefilled — you complete the payment directly with the supplier. If neither automation nor handoff succeeds, we will contact you and either coordinate the booking by email or SMS or refund the supplier-side amount.
Our AI concierge can propose itinerary changes, answer questions about operators, or escalate to a human (Keith) when it is out of its depth. The concierge cannot place or modify a booking without your explicit confirmation. As described in § 1, the concierge is experimental and not guaranteed — treat it as a helpful assistant, not a contractual service. We never re-attempt a booking automatically— even after a failure — without your explicit request.
Some suppliers send an OTP or verification SMS during checkout. To complete those bookings reliably, we route the verification SMS through our Twilio number and relay any codes or supplier messages back to you. Your real phone number is still on file with us for confirmations and concierge contact. See Privacy § 4 (Twilio) for details.
Trip portal access tokens (magic-links) are valid for 14 days from the time we send them. After that window you can request a fresh link from the trip portal at any time.
We act as a concierge and booking coordinator, not as a travel agent or licensed tour operator. Actual activity and service delivery is the responsibility of the individual suppliers (see § 8). Holoholo is currently in limited release; activity availability and supplier coverage will expand over time.
To initiate the trip planning process, we collect a non-refundable planning deposit via Stripe. This deposit covers the cost of AI-powered itinerary generation and booking coordination — the deliverable described in § 1. The deposit amount is disclosed on the checkout page before payment.
A service fee (currently 15% of the supplier subtotal for eligible bookings) is applied to your final itinerary, net of the planning deposit credit. Service fee details are disclosed in your trip portal before you confirm the itinerary.
Payment chain. Your card statement will show a charge from Holoholo.aifor the planning deposit and service fee. Supplier-side charges appear separately on our virtual-card statement under the supplier’s name — they are paid using the single-use virtual card we mint for each booking (see § 3 and Privacy § 4 (Privacy.com)). Your card is charged at the time of trip confirmation; supplier-side amounts are charged separately at the time we book each activity.
All payments are processed by Stripe. By providing payment information, you agree to Stripe’s Terms of Service.
All bookings made through holoholo are subject to the cancellation policy of the supplier you book with. holoholo does not guarantee any refund of supplier amounts. holoholo service fees are non-refundable.In exceptional cases — supplier shutdown, holoholo system error — case-by-case resolution may be offered at holoholo’s discretion.
The planning deposit is non-refundableonce we have generated your itinerary. The deposit pays for the concierge work that happens before any supplier confirms (see § 1). In exceptional cases (we got something materially wrong about your trip, supplier shutdown, system error on our side), an admin may review at our discretion. Email keith@holoholo.ai.
Each supplier sets its own cancellation policy and we surface that policy in your trip portal and at checkout. We do not add restrictions on top of the supplier’s policy, and we do not backstop it: if the supplier will not return money, holoholo does not pay out of pocket to make you whole.
How the chain runs when a refund does occur (any case where the supplier is returning money to us, or holoholo has decided to refund at its discretion):
We never refund you before the supplier credit lands. This rule is non-negotiable: it eliminates a float-loss scenario in which holoholo refunds you and the supplier subsequently refuses or fails to deliver the credit.
If a supplier cancels on you, we detect it via three independent layers (inbound email parsing, scheduled re-walks of the supplier confirmation page before your event, and concierge intent detection). When any layer fires, we page our operator team and you will get a message from the concierge with replacement options drawn from same-date availability in our partner network. Whether the supplier returns the money is the supplier’s decision under their cancellation policy— if they do, we pass the credit through to your card; if they do not, no refund is automatic and you may ask us to review case-by-case.
As described in § 1 and § 3, automated booking can fail. If our automation cannot complete a booking AND no booking was made on your behalf at the supplier, the service fee for that line item is refunded along with any captured supplier amount. This is the only path where holoholo voluntarily refunds the service fee — if no booking was performed, the fee was not earned. If we (or you, with our help) complete the booking by hand after the bot fails, the service fee IS earned and is not refunded.
Refunds for weather- or safety-related disruptions are governed by the supplier’s policy. We never auto-cancel a confirmed booking for weather (see § 6); if the supplier cancels and returns money, we pass it through; if they hold the slot and you do not show, the supplier’s day-of policy applies.
There is no automatic compensation for failed bookings. Goodwill credit, apology credit, partial refunds where none was strictly owed, and similar gestures are offered case-by-case at our discretion and are not a customer entitlement. Documented every time; not advertised as a tier.
Beach reservation requests submitted through the auto-booking system are subject to the cancellation policy of the individual beach service provider. Holoholo.ai is not responsible for provider-level cancellation fees and does not backstop them.
The full refund policy with the eligibility decision tree is available on our support page.
We never automatically cancel a confirmed booking, even when weather, surf, or safety advisories may affect your activity. When we see an advisory that could affect a booked activity, the concierge will notify you with reschedule and cancel options — you decide. We will not move, refund, or cancel an activity on your behalf without your explicit confirmation.
We monitor public weather and ocean advisories against your trip dates (see Privacy § 3) and surface them in your trip portal. The advisory data we display is informational and not a substitute for direct guidance from the National Weather Service, lifeguards, or individual operators.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating a trip request, including your name, email address, travel dates, and activity preferences. Inaccurate information may result in unsuitable itinerary recommendations or failed bookings, and may also affect supplier-level eligibility for refunds or rescheduling.
Holoholo.ai coordinates with third-party suppliers (tour operators, farm experiences, beach service providers, etc.) on your behalf. We do not employ these suppliers and are not responsible for their conduct, service quality, or safety practices. All activity participation is at your own risk. Please review each supplier’s own terms and waiver requirements before participation.
Our scope of responsibility.Holoholo is responsible for booking errors caused by our automation or operator team (wrong date, wrong party size, wrong activity) and will resolve those per § 5. Holoholo is notresponsible for supplier-side errors, weather, captcha walls or anti-bot defenses on supplier sites that block our automation (which we treat per § 5 “Failed bookings”), activity-level safety, or supplier-side refusal to return money on a cancelled booking (per § 5).
Eco impact scores displayed on the platform are estimates based on our internal methodology and are provided for informational purposes only. They do not constitute environmental certification. Scores may be updated as our methodology evolves.
You agree not to use Holoholo to:
Bans and appeals.Repeated abuse may result in a temporary or permanent ban from the concierge chat and from creating new trips. If you are banned but have existing confirmed bookings, those bookings remain valid — you will receive a notice with your itinerary summary and direct contact information for each supplier so you can manage your trip without the chat. Your itinerary is yours; a ban does not take it away. You may appeal a ban by emailing keith@holoholo.ai with the email address on your trip account. Appeals are reviewed by a human (not the concierge AI).
We may decline or refund a booking we believe to be fraudulent and may share fraud signals with our payment processors (Stripe, Privacy.com / Lithic).
All content on holoholo.ai — including text, itinerary templates, and the platform interface — is owned by Holoholo.ai LLC or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission. The itinerary we generate for you is licensed to you for personal travel use; you may share it with the people traveling with you.
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that itineraries will be accepted by all suppliers. As stated in § 1, automated booking and concierge chat are experimental and carry no commercial guarantee.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Holoholo.ai LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to failed bookings, supplier cancellations, weather disruptions, or other travel disruptions. Our maximum aggregate liability for any direct damages is limited to the total fees you have paid to Holoholo in the twelve months preceding the claim.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current effective date is shown at the top and bottom of this page. Material changes will be communicated via email to the address on your trip record. Continued use of the service after such notice constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
