Sample 5-Day Regenerative Oʻahu Itinerary

Day 1 — Arrival
Land at HNL, settle into your Waikīkī or Kakaʻako stay, walk the beach near your hotel. No scheduled workdays — let the trip start gently.
Day 2 — Reef Restoration Workday
Morning (7-11 a.m.): reef restoration volunteer workday with a Hawaiian-led marine program (Mālama Maunalua coalition or Hawaiʻi Coral Reef Initiative). Afternoon: plate lunch + a Native-Hawaiian-owned restaurant for dinner.

Snorkel a healthy reef as a visitor (Hanauma Bay or Sharks Cove), hike a moderate trail, browse a farmers market. Recovery from Day 2 + intentional rest before Day 4.
Day 4 — Loʻi Kalo (Taro Farm) Workday
Morning (8-noon): loʻi kalo workday with Kākoʻo ʻŌiwi (Heʻeia) or Hoʻokuaʻāina (Kailua). Family-friendly, no swim requirement. Afternoon: windward-side beach.
